Account Deletion Request

We're sorry to see you go! If you'd like to delete your Feathrs account and associated data, please follow the instructions below.
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your Feathrs account and all associated data:
- Open the Feathrs app
- Go to Menu > Account Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion
Your account will be deleted immediately.
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once deleted, you will not be able to recover your account or any associated data.
What Data Will Be Deleted
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All flock records (birds, eggs, hatches, lineage)
- Financial tracking data
- Your breed wishlist and favorites
- Community posts, comments, and interactions
- App preferences and settings
- Photos and media uploaded to the app
Data Retention
Some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes:
- Transaction records: Required by law for tax and accounting purposes (retained for 7 years)
- Support communications: Email correspondence may be retained for customer service records
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics for app improvement
No personally identifiable information will be retained beyond the legal retention periods listed above.
